A person who plans to receive training at a private academic institute with an outstanding performance

Eligibility criteria for application

You are eligible for this visa if you are a person who plans to receive training at an institute established by a company listed on the Korea Stock Exchange or associated with technology vocational institute. Also a person who plans to receive training at an vocational technology institute affiliated with an university, or a branch of a widely-known international technology vocational institute located in ROK, or an academic institute under contract of exclusive operation with a widely-known international technology vocational institute

Visa Type

You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.
Periods of stay will be granted for up to 6 months.

Documents

① Application form for Confirmation of Visa Issuance (Form No. 21), a copy of passport, a photo in a standard format
② A certified copy of unabridged Corporate Register( Business Registration Certificate or registration number certificate) of a respective academic institution
③ An acceptance letter issued by an academic institution
④ Documents proving an applicant’s financial statement*
* In principle, documents proving an applicant’s financial abilities must be reviewed with the original documents (i.e. an account balance, bankbook, scholarship receipt from a training institute, bank statement), and when necessary, a copy must be attached after the original document is compared with the copy to confirm authenticity (account balance must be issued within the past 30 days)
⑤ A Certificate of Enrollment or any other documents proving the highest level of education
⑥ A training course plan (lecture schedule, instructors’ profile, training facility information, tuition fees)
⑦ A receipt of full payment of tuition or admission
⑧ In the case of training by an institute associated with or established by a Korean listed company, documents proving that the institute is under contract or is established by the company must be submitted
※ In the case of having difficulties in proving reliability of documents with official documents, any equivalent will be accepted
⑨ In case of training at a university-affiliated institute, documents proving that the institute is affiliated with the university must be submitted
⑩ In case of training at a Korean branch of an international education institute, documents proving that the branch belongs to the institute, or the institute is a contract holder of an exclusive operation agreement with ROK

※ If a representative is hired, he/she must submit a Power of Attorney from an applicant, his/her employment certificate and A copy of ID Card.
※ The head of Immigration Office may request for additional documents if it is deemed necessary to review the purpose of entry, validity of an invitation, and qualification of an inviting organization or an invitee.
