Household assistant of professional F-1-24

You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are a household assistant of a professional labor who has acquired status of stay of Long-term News Coverage (D-5), Supervisory Intra Company Transfer (D-7) , Int’l Trade (D-9), Professor (E-1), Foreign Language Instructor (E-2), Researcher (E-3), Technical Instructor/Technician (E-4), Professional (E-5), Artist · Athlete (E-6) and Foreign National with Special Ability (E-7)

※ The person must have been employed for at least 1 year by the same employer in other countries.

You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.
Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 1 year.

① Visa Application Form (Form No. 17), passport, a photo in a standard format, fee
② A document proving the income status of the employer
– A receipt for earned income tax withholding, certificate of income amount, payslip, a copy of an applicant’s bankbook
※ The employer’s income should be three times more than gross national income (GNI) of the previous year announced by the Bank of Korea
③ An employment contract of household assistant
④ A proof of employment of an employer (ID card of employer)
⑤ A letter of guarantee
⑥ A document proving a level of education of the household employee
⑦ A document proving that the household assistant has been hired by the employer for at least one year
※ e.g. employment contract, payslip, a copy of bankbook
⑧ A document proving you have child under the age 13, or you need a household assistant because your spouse has a medical issues or is employed.

※ The head of Korean diplomatic missions abroad may request for additional documents depending on the condition of the country of residence/jurisdiction if it is deemed necessary for visa evaluation.
