∗ Notes:

  • A photocopy of the ID card is required for all visa types.

  • For commercial visas authorized for company employees to submit on behalf of the applicant, an employee card (if any) or original labor contract and original ID card must be presented.

  • For family visit visas (visiting children), only household members with the same name on the household registration are authorized to submit or collect the visa.

  • All documents prepared in Vietnam must be accompanied by English or Korean translations. Documents issued by Vietnamese government agencies (business registration certificate, household registration, land use right certificate, birth certificate, marriage certificate, savings book, etc.) must have notarized English or Korean translations.

  • All documents submitted for visa applications must be in A4 paper size.

⇒ Visa exemption cases:

  • Vietnamese citizens with official passports, diplomatic passports, and APEC cards (with ordinary passports) staying for less than 90 days.

  • Citizens of Macao, Brunei, Taiwan, Kuwait, the USA, etc., for stays under 30 days; Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, etc., for stays under 90 days; Canada for stays under 6 months, etc.

⇒ Visa application documents include:

  • 01 visa application form with one 3.5 x 4.5 cm photo taken within the last 3 months (the form must be filled out in Korean or English).
    Note: If a child shares a passport with their parent, attach an additional photo of the child in section 34 of the visa application form and provide detailed personal information in the adjacent fields.

  • Original passport (valid for more than 6 months for visas under 90 days and more than 1 year for visas over 1 year from the visa issuance date).

⇒ Visa fee:

  • 20 USD for a visa under 90 days

  • 50 USD for a single-entry visa over 90 days

  • 60 USD for a double-entry visa within 6 months

  • 80 USD for a multiple-entry visa
