1. A person dispatched from a foreign media firm (newspapers, broadcasting corporations, magazines or other form of media) who plans to engage in reporting or news coverage while staying in ROK
2. A journalist who plans to engage in reporting or news coverage in ROK on the basis of a contract with the foreign media outlet.
3. A Journalist dispatched from a foreign media firm (newspapers, broadcasting corporations, magazines, or other form of media) that has a branch office in ROK
You are eligible to apply for this visa, if you are a journalist dispatched for news reporting and coverage by a foreign media outlet (newspapers, broadcasting corporations, magazines, or other foreign information media) that has a branch office in the ROK
You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.
Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 1 year.

① Visa Application Form (Form No. 17), passport, a photo in a standard format, fee
② A proof of overseas assignment or a proof of current employment status
③ A copy of permit to the establishment of a Korean branch or liaison office, or a document demonstrating foreign capitals flowing into a Korean branch office
※ The head of Korean diplomatic missions abroad may request for additional documents depending on the condition of the country of residence/jurisdiction if it is deemed necessary for visa evaluation.
You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are:
1. A journalist dispatched from a foreign media outlet (newspapers, broadcasting, magazines or other form of media) who plans to stay in ROK for news report or coverage
2. A person under contract with a foreign media outlet who plans to stay in ROK for news report or coverage
You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.

① Application form for Confirmation of Visa Issuance (Form No. 21), a copy of passport, a photo in a standard format
② A dispatch order /proof of overseas assignment or an Employment Certificate
③ A copy of permission for the establishment a Korean branch or liaison office or a document demonstrating foreign capitals flowing into a Korean branch office
※ If a representative is hired, he/she must submit a Power of Attorney from an applicant, his/her employment certificate and A copy of ID Card.
※ The head of Immigration Office may request for additional documents if it is deemed necessary to review the purpose of entry, validity of an invitation, and qualification of an inviting organization or an invitee.
