Overseas Korean with a foreign nationality of a country notified by the Minister of Justice of ROK, who has a degree higher than community college or had stayed as a scholarship student invited by National Institute for International Education, or others
You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are a person who has an associate’s degree or higher (graduated students from a community college or above), or a person who is a government scholarship students invited by the National Institute for International Education.
※ If you earned an associate’s degree from a foreign country, you are required to complete the Social Integration program, or pass the Korean Proficiency Test (TOPIC) level 3 or higher to apply for this visa.
You can apply for a multiple-entry visa valid for 5 years.
Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 2 years.

1. Visa Application Form (Form No. 17), passport, a photo in a standard format, fee
2. Certification of Family Registry, Certificate of Removal from Family Registry or closed Register
* If you are unable to submit the above documents, you have to submit Household register booklet (or hukou), resident registration card, and other documents proving you are an overseas Koreans with foreign citizenship
3. Proof of enrollment or a graduate certificate
4. Any documents proving that you are a scholarship student invited by the government of ROK
5. Documents proving your proficiency in Korean Language (if you have an associates’ degree from a foreign country)
※ The head of Korean diplomatic missions abroad may request for additional documents depending on the condition of the country of residence/jurisdiction if it is deemed necessary for visa evaluation.
