The Korean Visa Application Center warmly welcomes our valued customers.
Previously, the Center has accepted your visa applications even if certain documents listed in the application checklist were missing. However, this has led to several issues, such as abuse of this leniency, and a higher volume of supplementary document processing compared to initial application intake.
Therefore, the Korean Visa Application Center hereby announces the tightening of requirements in the application checklist. Please note that your application may be refused if you fail to prepare all documents in accordance with this new regulation. We kindly ask you to review the information below and prepare your application in full compliance with the rules to ensure smoother processing.

Please refer to the [List of Required Documents] for each visa type to prepare your application properly (the list is provided below).
The full document list for each visa type can also be found in the “FAQ” section on the KVAC website. -
Applications that do not meet the checklist requirements after the effective date may be refused.
b) Supplementary documents:

Supplementary submission without all missing documents may be refused.

The person submitting supplementary documents must bring the List of Missing Documents provided by the Center’s intake staff at the time of initial submission.
3. Important notes:

The Korean Consulate General may request additional documents not listed in the checklist during the review process.

Failure to prepare all documents in the [List of Required Documents] will result in non-acceptance; however, this does NOT mean that submission of only these listed documents guarantees acceptance.
