Unmarried minor child and spouse recognized in the item from Korean Arts and Culture (D-1) to Foreign National of Special Ability (E-7)
※ However, family with a person of Industrial Trainee (D-3) status is excluded.

Eligibility criteria for application

You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are a spouse or an unmarried minor child of a Korean Arts and Culture (D-1), a Student (D-2), a General Trainee (D-4), a Long-term News Coverage (D-5), a Religious Worker (D-6), an Intra-Company Transferee (D-7), a Corporate/Foreign Investor (D-8), a International Trade (D-9), a Job Seeker (D-10), a Professor (E-1), a Foreign Language Instructor (E-2), a Researcher (E-3), a Technology Instructor/Technician (E-4), a Professional (E-5), an Artist/Athlete (E-6), and a Foreign National of Special Ability (E-7) visa holder

Visa Type

You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.
Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 1 year.

Documents

① Visa Application Form (Form No. 17), passport, a photo in a standard format, fee
② A family relation certificate
– Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate or a Certification on Family Relations Records
(For Chinese, please submit your resident card, marriage certificate or household register booklet, or hukou)
③ Documents supporting your financial ability
– A proof employment and tax payment certificate and others
※ If you are unable to submit tax payment certificate for reasons (for example, if you are applying together with the principal applicant of a certain type of D-category visa), you can submit other financial documents instead.

※ The head of Korean diplomatic missions abroad may request for additional documents depending on the condition of the country of residence/jurisdiction if it is deemed necessary for visa evaluation.

Eligibility criteria for application

You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are Dependent family of a Corporate/ foreign Investor (D-8) visa holder who has invested in the Free Economic Zone designated in accordance with the Act on Designation and Management of Free Trade Zones

You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.
Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 2 year.

Visa Type

A dependent family member will be granted the same number of entries and the length of stay as a principal applicant.

② Documents proving the family relations
– Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate or a Certification on Family Relations Records
(If you are a Chinese, please submit your resident card, marriage certificate or Household register booklet)
③ Documents supporting an applicant’s financial ability
– i.e. A proof of employment, tax payment certificate of principal visa holder
※ If you are unable to submit tax payment certificate for reasons (for example, if you are applying together with the principal applicant of a certain type of D-category visa), you can submit other financial documents instead.

※ If a representative is hired, he/she must submit a Power of Attorney from an applicant, his/her employment certificate and A copy of ID Card.
※ The head of Immigration Office may request for additional documents if it is deemed necessary to review the purpose of entry, validity of an invitation, and qualification of an inviting organization or an invitee.

③ Documents supporting an applicant’s financial ability
– i.e. A proof of employment , tax payment certificate of principal visa holder
