A person who is a seafarer assistant and has signed a seafarer labor contract of 6 months or more with an employer engaging in a business (operating fishing vessel of 20 tons or heavier) in accordance with the Regulation on Fixed net Fishery and Inshore Fishery using Motor Vessel
You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are a sailor who falls under the provisions of Article 2(6) of the Seafarers Act, who has signed a seafarer labor contract of 6 months or more with an employer engaging in a business( a ship of 20 tons or heavier) defined in Sub-section (1) of Article 8(1) [Fixed net Fishery] and sub-section (1) of Article 43(1) [ Inshore Fishery using Motor Vessel] of the Fishery Act
You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.
Periods of stay will be granted for up to 1 year.

① Application form for Confirmation of Visa Issuance (Form No. 21), a copy of passport, a photo in a standard format
② A copy standard labor contract
③ A letter of guarantee
④ A Certificate of Report on Foreign Crew Employment issued by the head of local Maritime Affairs ＆ Port Administration
⑤ An employment recommendation letter
⑥ A fishery license and a certificate of fishing boat, a copy of coastal fishing license in accordance with the Fishery Act.
Please submit the document only if you are a first time applier or wish to change the registration information.
⑦ A copy of Ship Inspection Report
※ If a representative is hired, he/she must submit a Power of Attorney from an applicant, his/her employment certificate and A copy of ID Card.
※ The head of Immigration Office may request for additional documents if it is deemed necessary to review the purpose of entry, validity of an invitation, and qualification of an inviting organization or an invitee.
