A person who plans to study at an academic institution equivalent to high school or below
You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are an international student invited to study in Korea on a full scholarship offered by an organization, who has been accepted to an educational organization and is planning to enroll in the school
Eligible educational organizations are Elementary school, middle school, high school or Foreigner school in accordance with the 「Elementary and Secondary Education Act」, or Foreign educational institution in accordance with the「Special Act on Establishment and Management of Foreign Educational Institutions in Free Economic Zones and Jeju International City」.
You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.
Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 1 year.

① Visa Application Form (Form No. 17), passport, a photo in a standard format, fee
② A copy of Business Registration Certificate (or Registration Number Certificate) of a respective education institute
③ Acceptance Letter (issued by the President of School)
④ Documents demonstrating the highest level of your education (Graduation Certificate or Proof of Enrollment and etc.)
⑤ Documents proving a full scholarship student(official documents issued by organization or groups)
⑥ In case the inviting group such as corporation, financial ability certification in need
– Guardianship warranty
– Verifying document of the inviting group’s financial soundness such as copy of corporate registration
※ The head of Korean diplomatic missions abroad may request for additional documents depending on the condition of the country of residence/jurisdiction if it is deemed necessary for visa evaluation.

① Application form for Confirmation of Visa Issuance (Form No. 21), a copy of passport, a printed photo of an applicant in a standard size
② A copy of Business Registration Certificate (or registration number certificate) of a respective academic institution
③ An acceptance letter issued by the president or dean of a school (refer to Archive)
④ Documents demonstrating the highest level of education (i.e. Graduation Certificate or Certificate of Enrollment)
⑤ Any documents that can confirm an applicant’s tuition payments (official documents or admission letters demonstrating course fees, admission, and housing fees)
⑥ Documents proving living expenses (one year tuition fees or one year living expenses)
– tuition Fees (including course, housing, admission fees or any other expenses related to study)
– annual living expenses: a bank statement proving that the standard amount of money has been deposited for at least 1 month, and a bank statement
⑦ Guardianship warranty * (refer to Archive)
* Even when a guardian is a parent, or a kin/relative closer than second degree relationship, a student must submit the form.
⑧ Documents demonstrating guardian’s financial ability (only for those from countries where many illegal immigrants come from)
– A receipt of earned income tax, Real Estate Property Ownership Certificate, Real Estate Contract, Balance Statement issued( authenticated or notarized) by domestic/overseas banks or government organizations
⑨ Documents demonstrating family relations
– You must submit the original copy attached with the translated version, and A copy of an applicant’s parents’ passports to compare alphabet letters of an applicant’s parents’ name**
※ The head of Immigration Office may request for additional documents if it is deemed necessary to review the purpose of entry, validity of an invitation, and qualification of an inviting organization or an invitee.
