Trainee Chef (Korean Cuisine) D-4-5

A person who plans to receive a training related to Korean cuisine at a Korean cooking academy designated by the Minister of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MIFAFF)

Eligibility criteria for application

You are eligible for this visa if you are a person who plans to receive a training related to Korean cuisine at a cooking academy in ROK which has been designated by the Minister of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MIFAFF)

Visa Type

You can apply for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months.
Periods of stay will be granted for up to 6 months.

Documents

① Application form for Confirmation of Visa Issuance (Form No. 21), a copy of passport, a photo in a standard format
② A document relevant to the establishment of the training institute (i.e. a copy of Business Registration Certificate or a copy of registration number certificate, a copy of Corporate register)
③ A document proving an applicant’s financial ability to support an him/herself during the stay (i.e. a full-tuition receipt)
※ If a training institute (host) is paying for an applicant’s expenses, a confirmation letter from the host must be submitted.
④ A letter of guarantee(only when the Minister of Justice of ROK deems it necessary)
⑤ A training course plan (including training schedule)
⑥ A recommendation letter from the Agriculture and Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation of ROK (aT)

※ If a representative is hired, he/she must submit a Power of Attorney from an applicant, his/her employment certificate and A copy of ID Card.
※ The head of Immigration Office may request for additional documents if it is deemed necessary to review the purpose of entry, validity of an invitation, and qualification of an inviting organization or an invitee.
